We started lessons for our 7 year old, with no real previous experience of any musical instrument, and Julian was brilliant from lesson one. Aside from being a hugely knowledgeable and technically superb drummer, and a great teacher, Julian also puts a lot of effort into building a relationship with his students. Zac’s confidence, as well as his drumming ability, has improved significantly. The social side of these lessons has been just as important to us as the technical development. Highly recommended!
Julian is a fantastic drum teacher. Over the past 3 years he has really helped me improve my drum skills. He has a special way of teaching drums and is very supportive. Always understanding and is always happy to help. In the time he has taught me I have taken 2 drum exams and through both of them he helped me achieve great scores. Very friendly and really knows what to do.
I can absolutely recommend Julian as a drum tutor. He is so patient and has been brilliant at teaching my son to play the drums and work through his grades for the last three years. I wanted my son to be able to read music as well as play the drums and Julian has been able to teach both and also make it fun along the way.

I was selected to play in two live musicals at my local theatre, playing in front of over 600 people over 3 nights. He provided me with coaching and shared his experiences that helped me, not just on the drumming aspect but also how to perform with a band and cast members.
Until lockdown he came to my home which was great and since lockdown has set up remote lessons using zoom which have been a huge success. Thanks for all your support mate.
